Moody Systems belt driven
roller conveyors are an economical
and efficient method of moving large, heavy, and bulky commodities of various shapes and sizes. For example, They can easily handle wooden boxes, drums, barrels, crates and pallets.
A power driven belt, located under the top rollers, transfers power to produce a smooth, low friction conveying surface.Products can be merged or transferred off the top rollers with minimal effort.
The floating rollers are easily removed, an important safety feature (pop-up rollers) . Merges and 90º transfers, whether gravity or motorized, may be added to facilitate certain operations of these conveying systems.
This type of conveyor can also be utilized for accumulation purposes, if desired.

MOODY Systems chaing driven roller unitsare designed for heavy and/or irregular products. They are used in transfer areas and palletized interfaces.
Power is directly coupled to the carrying rollers by a combination of chains and sprockets. These units are resistant to oil, heat, dirt and other contaminants as well as being able to withstand extreme abuse.
The design configuration includes : curves, merges, transfers and product accumulation.

MOODY Systems Lineshaft Conveyors used for
transportation and accumulation of
light and medium weight products.

The systems are driven by friction
motive power. Each roller is individually
powered by friction forces created
between a delrin thimble and a
revolving drive shaft, which runs
the length of the conveyor, beneath
the rollers. Pre-tensioned elastomer
"o" ring belts transmit the drive torque
to each individual roller. Multiple units, including:

  • Curves
  • Diverters
  • Merges
  • Transfers
and even turntable can often be driven from a single drive motor, Each roller can be individually stopped and all the power components are located under the conveyor.
The Moody Systems Lineshaft Conveyors are easily modified and systems are expandible.
